a) Head Constable Radio Operator.
Direct Recruitment
Candidates
will be required to be in possession of the following qualifications.
Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with English, Mathematics and Physics or General Science.
Must have passed the selection aptitude test.
Conform to
the CRPF physical standards as laid down.
CT/GD with six years of service and must have passed 10+2
with English, Mathematics, Physics or General Scinece.
Must qualify the ROG-III Aptitude Test. Note
1 The method of recruitment will be remustering from Constable( GD) failing
which the vacancies of HC(RO) Will be filled up through Direct Recruitment from
open market.
Direct Recruitment
Candidates
should be in possession of the following qualifications:- Passed Matric with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English
and two year Diploma in Electrical Engineering From a recognized I.T.I.
Must pass
the Selection Aptitude test. Must conform
to the CRPF physical standard. Departmental Candidates Head
Constable (Radio Operator ) will be eligible for conversion to Radio Fitter
provided they have the following qualifications :- 2 years
service as HC(RO). Opted for
the Radio Fitters trade voluntarily. Option once exercised will be final. Must pass
the Selection Aptitude test. Must undergo Basic Radio Fitter Courses and qualify
successfully. Note
1 The percentage of direct recruitment and remustering of departmental
candidates has been fixed as 20% & 80% respectively. c) Head Constable (Crypto) Direct Appointees Candidates must nave possess the following qualifications:-
Degree with English and Mathematics and should have passed
Metric with English, Maths & Physics. Must pass the selection Aptitude test. Must conform
to the CRPF physical standard. Head Constable ( Radio Operator) will be eligible for
conversion to crypto category provided they have the following qualifications:- 2 Years service as Head Constable ( Radio Operator). Opted for the crypto category voluntarily. Option once
exercised will be final. Must pass the selection Aptitude test. Must undergo police Basic Cipher Course and qualify
successfully. Note
1 The percentage of direct recruitment and remustering of departmental
candidates has been fixed as 20% & 80% respectively. d) Assistant Sub- Inspector (
Technical) Direct Appointees Candidates
must have possess the following qualifications:- Matric with
English, Physics, Mathematics with 3 years diploma in Radio Engineering/
Electronics/Computer. Preference
will be given to those trained in Software/Hardware of Computer. Must pass
the Selection Aptitude Test. Conform to
the CRPF physical standard as laid down. Departmental Candidates Head
Constable (Radio Fitters) will be eligible for conversion if in possession of
following qualifications:- 2
years as Radio Fitter A clear
record of service. Pass the
Selection Aptitude Test. Candidates
with above qualifications will be remustered as ASI(Tech) on successful
completion of Basic Radio Mechanic Course. NOTE:- The percentage of direct recruitment
and remustering of departmental candidates has been fixed as 70% & 30%
respectively.
e) Assistant Sub Inspector (Draftsman) Direct Appointees Candidates
should have the following qualifications:- Matriculation with English, Science and Mathematics and two
years Drafts Man Course from a recognized I.T.I. Must pass the selection Test. Confirm to the CRPF physical standards as laid down.
NOTE 1:- The vacancies will be filled
through direct recruitment only. f) Sub-Inspector (Cryptographers) Direct Appointees A degree
from a recognised University with English & Mathematics and also Matric
with English, Maths and Physics. Pass the selecion Aptitude test. Must Confirm to the CRPF physical standard. Note 1:- The percentage of direct recruitment and
promotion from feeder posts has been fixed as 10% & 90% respectively.
g) Sub-Inspector (Radio Operator) candidates
should be in possession of the following qualifications:-
A degree from a recognized university with Maths, Physics,
Statistics or computer science as one of the main subject. pass
the Selection Aptitude Test. Must conform
to the CRPF physical standard . Note :- As ling as suitable departmental
candidates are available no direct recuitment will be carried out except in very
exceptional cases. The percentage of direct recruitment and promotion from
feeder posts has been fixed as 10% & 90% respectively..
h) Sub-Inspector (Technical)
Candidates
should be in possession of the following qualifications:- Graduate in Engg. Telecommunication/Electronics/Computer Science or Qualified
A.M.I.E or
Grade I.E.T.E . Must pass
the Selection Aptitude Test. Must conform
to the CRPF physical standard Note :- As long as suitable departmental
candidate are available no direct recruitment will be carried out except in very
exceptional cases. The percentage of direct recruitment and promotion from
feeder posts has been fixed as 10% & 90% respectively. g) Lineman Constable (Lineman) Constables
who are found suitable and have an aptitude for the Lineman duties will be
remustered as Constable (LM) after successfully completion of the Lineman
course. They must possess the following qualifications:- Must have
passed Basic Lineman Course.
Ex-serviceman
lineman can also be considered for re-employment
Head Constable Lineman Must have
passed SCC of the executive side. Must have 2
years service as Constable Must be on
Approved list A Must have
passed lineman grade II
Sub-Inspector (Lineman) Must have
passed SUOCC Must have
four years service as HC(Lineman) Must have
passed GD B list test and be on approved list B (GD) Must have
passed Lineman Grade-I Re-Employment of Ex-Servicemen/Ex-Police Personnel
Personnel
from the Defence Service and other Police organisation will be eligible for
re-employment to all the above categories provided they hold corresponding
technical qualifications in their respective service, subject to the following: Should as
far as possible possess the prescribed academic qualification. In case of
technical personnel holding equivalent trades in their previous service academic
qualifications may be relaxed. Should
conform to the CRPF physical standard. Must have
character assessed as Very Good or Exemplary Should be
medical category AI at the time of release from Army.
Must pass
the Selection Test of the trade in which being re-employed. Ex-servicemen
willonly be re-employed if found technically proficient to hold the trade for
which they are being recruited. Relaxation may be made in exceptional cases by
the Deputy Director (Comns) All
Ex-servicemen will normally be re-employed in the lowest grade of the trade and
will thereafter be eligible for upgrading course in the normal manner. Those
possessing higher technical qualifications and technical practical experience
may be recruited in the higher grade of the trade. If recruited in the lowest
grade of the trade they may be permitted to take the final TTB test of the
higher grade upto Grade-I. For this Ex-servicemen, Ex-police personnel in such
cases must have acquired Grade-I of that trade from the Army or the police
organisation. Individual cases will only be considered by the Deputy Director
(Communication) depending on merits for permitting this relaxation.
(II) Promotional
Avenues of Non Gazetted Signal Personnel Approved Lists
are being drawn separately for signal personnel (a) Head
Constable ( RO/Cry) to ASI( RO/Cry)
i) Must have qualified ROG-II/ ROG-I, CUG-II/CUG-I Courses respectively.
ii) Must have completed 5 years service as HC( RO/CRY) from the date of
re-mustering/recruitment.
iii) Must not have adverse report in confidential card in proceeding 5 years.
iv) Must have not major punishment in preceding 5 years.
v) Must have qualified SUOCC( RO/CRY)
vi) Service record should be generally good. (b) ASI(RO/CRY/TECH)
to SI(RO/CRY/TECH)
i) Must have completed 5 years service as ASI(RO/CRY) or total 10 years service
as HC(RO/CRY) and ASI(RO/CRY) of which minimum one year should be in the rank of
ASI(RO/CRY). ASI(TECH) must have completed 5 years service from the date of
entry in Govt. service after basic training / remustering.
ii) ASI(Tech) must have qualified RM Gd.II & RM Gd.I courses.
iii) Must not have adverse remarks in the ACR in the preceding 5 years.
vi)Must have qualified SASI(Tech) cadre course applicable for techinical
category only.
v) Must not have major punishment in preceding 5 years. (c) SI(RO/CRY/TECH)
to INSPECTOR (RO/CRY/TECH) i)
Must have completed minimum 3 years service in respective rank.
ii) Must have qualified SSICC.
iii) Not have adverse report in the ACR in the preceding 3 years.
vi) Must not have major punishment in the preceding 3 years. (d) INSPECTOR
(RO/CRY/TECH) TO ASSTT. COMDT
i) Must have completed 2 years in the service.
ii) Detailment will be made by the personnel Directorate as per seniority as
combined Gadation
list is being maintained.
iii) Must have qualified SICC.
vi) All promotions will be regulated on the basis of recommendations of DPC as
per instrucions contained in Recruitment Rules issued vide MHA Notification
dated 29/12/2000 and Directorate SO 41/2001.
