On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of CRPF the GC–I in Ajmer organized Half Marathon on the 12th October 2014. This enormously successful event was attended by more than five thousand people.
The half marathon event was also associated with cleanliness drive namely "I love clean Ajmer” to create awareness in local people to extend their support to Swachchhta Abhiyan launched by GOI.
In order to create awareness among personnel of camp and nearby area about protection of environment and to promote greener environment, GC.I had launched Plantation Drive with Zee TV on 17th August, 2014.
ii. GC.1, CRPF Ajmer is situated in "A” Region and this GC is complying with the orders of GOI, MHA, Rajbhasha Vibhag issued from time to time with regard to ensuring progressive use of official language Hindi in official correspondence. This GC is performing
very well in the Rajbhasha Shield Competition which is held every year by Town Official Language Committee(TOLIC) to select the best Central Govt. Office which is performing well from among 66 central govt. Ajmer based offices. The achievements of GC.I in
above said competition during last three years has achieved are as under :-
Subsidiary canteen of GC.I is one of the best subsidiary canteen in CRPF which is running in Prithviraj Block of GC.I with the facility of self service counter and Bar Code Billing facility. More than 500 items of day to day need are available in the canteen.
Besides, permission for opening of New Subsidiary Canteen at Rajasthan Sector HQr, CRPF Jaipur under the ambit of Master Canteen CISF 8th Reserve Bn Jaipur has been accorded vide DIG/CEO-cum -GM, CPC Dte General, letter No. DA.VII.SC-CPC/W-Zone/2013, dated
09/02/2016. On 13/07/2016, Shri B. Srinivasan, IPS, IG,
a dry Sub Canteen in the campus of Rajasthan Sector, CRPF.
The passing out parade was held on 19.9.2014 which was inspected by Chief Guest Shri B.Srinivasan, IPS, IGP, CRPF, Jaipur(Rajasthan). The outdoor, indoor and all round best cadets were honoured by the Chief Guest for their praiseworthy performance during
the course of training. Total 86 cadets including 2 female cadets have participated in DAUOs/HC(Min.) training in GC.I, CRPF, Ajmer w.e.f. 2.6.2014 to 18.9.2014
i. Further this GC has organized Inter Zone Volleyball and Basketball competition w.e.f. 25.5.2015 to 29.5.2015. Shri B.Srinivasan, IPS, IGP, Rajasthan Sector, CRPF, Jaipur and Lt.General(Retd) Surendra Kulkarni, Principal Director, Mayo College, Ajmer had
graced the opening and closing ceremony respectively of this competition.
Inter Bn/GC(Adm) Wrestling(FS & GR) and Weighlifting Competition-2015 of Rajasthan Sector was conducted w.e.f. 5/5/2015 to 8/5/2015 at this GC and GC 1 Ajmer secured first position in wrestling(GR).
Innovation activities by FWC : Innovation activities viz. english speaking course, Car driving course, Self Defence Course , Mehandi Course, Painting Course, Computer Course, Achar&Papad making course, Embroidery course, Dance Classes Crochet work, Knitting
weaving , Patch work, Beautician course etc. Tuition Classes are running in the campus for the students of class VIIIth to XIIth.
ii. In complaince to DIG/CSO (Trg) Dte letter NO. S.IV.21/2016-Trg-15 (ASP dated 11/01/2016 and IG Rajasthan Sector signal NO. S.IV.1/2016-RS-EC-V, dated 26/02/2016, Rajasthan Sector Inter Bns /GCs (Ops) Volloyeball and Basketball Competition 2016 scheduled
to be conducted at GC-I Ajmer from 14/03/2016 to 18/03/2016.

Cultural activities are organized in the campus from time to time for entertainment of jawans and their families. The children, jawans and lady wives of the campus are participating in cultural activities. Ram Leela/ Laghu Naatika was presented on stage
on Dashahara Festival followed by Raavan Dahan which was witnessed by more than 5000 people including families, jawans and outsiders. CRPF Carnival was organized on CRPF Raising day on 27th July 2014. Cultural activities for families organized on international
family day on 15.5.2015. A Cycle rally spreading the message of saving mother nature from pollution and planting more trees organized on World Environment Day ( 5th June 2015) followed by cultural activities including skits/naatika by the jawans and CRPF wards.
