Today, on 22/02/2017, Shri K.Durga Prasad, IPS, Director General, CRPF/Chairman, CAC of Central Police Canteen has released a Souvenir on completion of decade of CPC . The Souvenir was released at CRPF Directorate, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road,
New Delhi. Smt. Renuka Mishra, IPS, IG /Chairperson, PNC Shri R.N.Yaday, DIGP/CEO-cum-GM,CPC and Shri Naveen Mohan Sharma, Commandant/Dy.GM, CPC were also present on the occasion in addition to senior officers of all CAPFs.
In connection with the welfare of CAPFs & CPOs of the country, Central Police Canteen was established under the direction of Ministry of Home Affairs (GOI) on 18/09/2006 for providing Canteen facilities to all serving and retired personnel
of CAPFs, CPOs, IB, CBI, R&W, MHA & their dependants as a welfare measure. Central Police Canteen has grown from a very small entity to very large organization. CPC began its journey metamorphosing from an idea into a juggernaut of 119 Master Canteens and
1600 Subsidiary canteens. Its turnover was 10 Lakhs in 2007 has risen to Rs.1,465 Crore during the year 2015-16. Team CPC is always dedicated to inclusion of the top brands and already top 100 brands are registered in CPC inventory for its customers. CPC is
providing canteen facilities to the Jawans & their family members who are
deployed in far flung/remote/inaccessible/hazardous/low oxygen and high altitude areas of the country to guard the borders and maintain Internal Security.
